Counted Out documentary

We had an amazing Sunday morning viewing of the math documentary Counted Out, an important and thought-provoking film about how crucial math literacy is today. Huge thanks to Little Beast Bistro for generously donating a $200 gift certificate which we raffled off to attendees. Congratulations to Rachael Romano, who came all the way from Spotsylvania, Virigina. Strength in Numbers DC also raffled off a Target gift card, which was won by Christina Lee of Deal Middle School right here in DCPS. Thanks to everyone who attended -- we will continue to find opportunities to host additional screenings. The film is THAT GOOD.
